Graystone Quarry in Thompson’s Station has partnered with the events promoter and venue operator Live Nation for future musical performances and events, as revealed in a press release made public on Thursday.

The construction on the amphitheater is still under way, with grading on the property just getting started, according to Thompson’s Station Town Planner Wendy Deats. The venue is expected to open in late summer of 2020.Purchased in 2014 by Nancy and Rick McEachern, Graystone Quarry has become a hugely popular venue for corporate events, weddings and other large-scale events. On the horizon, its owners are hoping to open an outdoor amphitheater that features seating for 7,500 people, state of the art sound and lighting, a 1.5-acre plaza and a large screen for image amplification.
